Action Cards



Action Cards are the cards you can buy at the end of your turn. They can benefit you - or an ally - in several ways. Here is a list of all the action cards in the deck.

Faction Receives Payoff
A Federation Council member is caught in a major corruption scandal; hush money is transferred to a faction to prevent full disclosure.

During your trading phase you may take $20,000 from another player. If they have less, take it all.

Coalition Collapses
Strong differences over economic policy and an internal struggle for power turn former allies into bitter enemies.
May be used for yourself or another player to nullify an alliance's defensive bonus for a single challenge.

Western Visits Hurt Incumbent
A local politician's trips to Western governments looking for investments backfire; public concerns about outside control rise.
May be used for yourself or another player to add an extra die when challenging.

Rally Gives Boost to Incumbent
Unwarranted attacks by unpopular challengers lead citizens to rise up in overwhelming support for the local incumbent.
May be used for yourself or another player to add an extra die when defending.

Uprisings Shut Down By Police
Public safety concerns and fear of other factions cause local security officials to temporarily restrict public demonstrations.
May be used during your movement phase to move any uprising one extra space.

Aeroflot Improves Service
Outside investment allows Aeroflot to hire better pilots, repair many of their airplanes, and drastically improve their safety record.
During your movement phase you may move one of your representatives to any region on the board.

Political Windfall For Faction
A faction's good track record on crime and economic issues lead to a groundswell of popular support.
One of your representatives may make a free challenge with one die during your turn. You may buy extra dice.

Faction Receives "Investment"
Investors from the West bribe a Duma representative to promote their interests in the development of industry in his region.
You receive an extra $20,000 from the bank during your trading phase.

Workers from state-run businesses strike to protest unpaid wages and pensions, and to demand better government support.

Unrest Rises in Middle Classes
Normal citizens take to the streets to protest lower wages and food shortages under post-Communist rule.
During challenge phase get one challenge with two dice against the Bourgeois uprising. Can buy more dice, no representative needed.
