They will then move around the room in groups analyzing the posted graphs and tables showing actual polling data relating political ideology to gender, region, class, education, ethnicity, and age, Groups will analyze and discuss the poll data, read other groups comments, and then post their own rationale for the outcome. Exercise:
Students review online practice questions, and will take a 10-minute practice essay. The class will
then formulate a comprehensive rubric on the board using the

format. Students will exchange essays, and score them using

will be discussed in individual conferences.
